In Tropics Studio was born in 2022, when Pamela Cambronero Piñeiro decided to step out of her comfort zone and begin an independent journey. She wanted the freedom to create, design, and travel, to work from anywhere in the world while staying true to her values and artistic vision.
From the beginning, the studio carried a deeply personal and family-driven spirit. Pamela’s passion for interior design grew throughout her professional career, especially while working in the luxury sector along Costa Rica’s coastline. There, she discovered something meaningful: many clients — especially foreigners — were searching for art and design that reflected Costa Rican identity and global cultural influences.​​

This realization planted the seed for a new philosophy:
Architecture and Art should coexist as one experience.
A Studio Rooted in Identity

The name In Tropics is a tribute to Costa Rica: a country full of nature, color, and creative energy. It represents the opportunity to build from our roots and values, and to show the world that the tropics hold deep artistic and professional talent.
What began as a general architecture page evolved into a studio specializing in interior design and renovation, focused on creating spaces that heal, inspire, and feel like home. Today, In Tropics also designs custom furniture, blending craftsmanship with functionality and emotion.
A new chapter:
Galería Piñeiro
In 2025, Pamela moved to Barcelona to specialize in interior architecture and renovation. During this time, she envisioned something unique: an art gallery that would complement architectural projects with curated artworks.
This is how Galería Piñeiro was born — a space where art brings life, soul, and identity into every design.

Unlike many studios, In Tropics maintains a family-oriented and human character, striving for fairness and supporting social causes whenever possible. Aesthetically, we balance minimalist and maximalist concepts, inspired by neuroarchitecture to create spaces that promote well-being and emotional harmony.
In 2025, the In Tropics Studio Blog was born — a place where art, architecture, and travel meet. Pamela, a passionate traveler, shares architectural gems, local and international art, curious facts, and reflections from her journeys. Spain, with its cultural fusion and gastronomy, became the first major inspiration for this magazine-like visual journey.

Looking ahead, In Tropics Studio aims to connect with people around the world, proving that virtual architecture can be warm, personal, and deeply aesthetic.
