The Bird of Paradise is distinguished by its long leaves and striking flowers, formed by large yellow and reddish sepals along with three blue petals. It is an excellent attractor of hummingbirds and reproduces through seeds and plant division.

Bamboo is recognized for its multiple hollow stems with small green bands divided into sections called nodes. The germination of its seeds can take up to seven years. Its canes are widely used in decoration, construction, crafts, and furniture. Its flowering occurs at the end of its life cycle.
